Established in 2003, Fernie Brewing Company has been Brewing up a Business. In fact, so much so, we’ve already had to build ourselves a New Brewery.

We have now been situated at 26 Manitou Road, just outside Fernie for the past 3 years. Our larger Brewhouse features a Tap Room & Retail Store, and an additional 5000 square foot production facility with a new state of the art Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System and additional Fermentation Tanks to keep up with demand.

To keep up with product demand, in May 2010 we purchased a new bottling machine. This enables us to add 650ml bottles of What the Huck and Ol' Willy Wit to our existing repertoire of 6-packs of cans, our 12 can sampler packs and kegs. This new and exciting change was well timed, ensuring bottles of FBC's two newest family members hit the shelves before Summer got underway.

And did we mention that we are an Award Winning Brewery! In 2008, we received 2 medals at the Canadian Brewing Awards! A Silver Medal for our ROCKY MOUNTAIN GENUINE LAGER and a BRONZE MEDAL for our FIRST TRAX BROWN ALE.

And in May 2010, we received Silver in the People's Choice Award, for our FIRST TRAX BROWN ALE at the Calgary International Beer Festival 2010.
