Grab your goggles, Snowblind is here.

Perfectly situated on the Powder Highway, it’s no secret that our little town lives for winter. As snow begins to settle, excitement around Fernie builds, signaling the time when adrenaline junkies, snow bunnies, and mountain-enthusiasts from around the globe, come together to enjoy all that winter has to offer in Fernie.

For us at Fernie Brewing Company, the arrival of winter brings more exciting news. This December, we are welcoming back our Snowblind Belgian-Style IPA as the latest release in our Limited Release IPA Series.

Named in honour of this wonderful time of year, Snowblind is the perfect way to cap off a winter’s day. Whether you prefer to ski powder laps on the hill, scenic Nordic loops on the skinnies, earn your turns in the back country or snowshoe out to visit us in our Tasting Room, every winter adventure deserves a delicious beer-filled reward, and we have just the ticket.

This popular IPA, combines the traditional Belgian IPA style with some of the newest hop varieties from Australia and New Zealand. Dry hopped for aroma, and enhanced with oat flakes, this unfiltered brew is a true treat for IPA lovers. In fact, as the most popular in last years IPA Series, our Snowblind Belgian-Style IPA is the only brew from 2016’s lineup to return in 2017.

In true winter fashion (literally), we welcomed Snowblind back with a festive Christmas sweater party in the Tasting Room, while coincidentally, snow began to fall outside. Following it's launch on Thursday, November 30th in our Tasting Room, this returning Fernie favourite can now be found locally on draft and in stores. Making its way throughout the rest of BC and into Private Liquor Stores, early December.

Whilst our neighbours to the right can keep an eye out for it here in Alberta, and come mid-December, our friends in Manitoba, can locate it here.

So, whether you live for winter or just try and make it through the other side, one thing is for sure, Snowblind will keep you warm on a winters’ night.
